Elegant store of imperious and noble presence. The leonine peducci highlight the desire, already marked in the lacquering of the wood, to embellish as much as possible the case. The cupboard is topped with a concealed lid, a secret compartment that can be closed by a lock. The modular decoration of the lid, organized by intense chromatic partitioning, highlights the main domed body, embellished by a shaped application with a pair of mirror racemes that adorn its center. Gilded frames, slats and lumeggiature evoking Venetian marble and granite make the box variopingono, according to a well-established Venetian decorative practice. The Venetian school that covers the present reivoca, through thin arabesques, the polychrome marbles of the Venetian goldsmiths, recalling the marble inlays adorning the Basilica of San Marco, as well as the architectures of Codussi and Pietro Solari.
